Disneyland Resort, Anaheim, CA

Executive Chef Christine Weissmann bi-coastal head of both Disneyland Parks (Florida and California), plus Disney F&B Director Michelle Gendreau, and Manager Allison Moore gave LDEI LA/OC Members a rare behind-the-scenes culinary tour at Disneyland.

We visited Big Thunder Ranch BBQ, Tomorrowland Terrace, The Plaza Inn Character Dining, the New Orleans Main Kitchen, with a contemporary lunch and a Q&A session at the Central Bakery.

We enjoyed a 4-course wine-paired dinner presented by SeaLegs Wine Bar founder Alicia Whitney. Fresh and colorful fare was created by Chef Alexander Dale, two-time Golden Foodie Champion for Best Californian Cuisine in Orange County. Our special guest of the evening was Chef Dale’s Grandmother, Charlotte Dale, the original owner of Villa Nova. Both women talked and gave homage to the past history of the great Villa Nova while helping influence the future successes of SeaLegs today.
